
🥩🧀 Cheesesteak-Style Egg Rolls
Crispy on the outside, melty and savory inside—these egg rolls pack all the classic Philly cheesesteak vibes in a crunchy appetizer. Perfect for parties or game night.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella
- Egg roll wrappers
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
- Sauté beef in olive oil over medium-high heat until just cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add onion and bell pepper; cook until soft. Let mixture cool slightly.
- Assemble: Place 2–3 tbsp filling on an egg roll wrapper, top with cheese, fold, and roll tightly (seal with water).
- Fry in hot oil (175–180°C / 350–360°F) for 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
