🧾 Ingredients

For the biscuits:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter (cubed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
  • 3/4 cup milk

For the crab filling:

  • 200g crab meat 🦀 (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

For garlic butter:

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare filling:
    In a bowl, mix crab meat, mayonnaise, cream cheese, mustard, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Make biscuit dough:
    In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
    Add cold butter and rub until crumbly.
    Stir in cheddar cheese, then add milk and mix into a soft dough.
  3. Assemble:
    • Divide dough into equal portions.
    • Flatten each piece, add a spoon of crab filling.
    • Cover with more dough and seal into a ball.
  4. Bake:
    • Place on baking tray lined with parchment paper.
    • Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 18–20 minutes until golden.
  5. Finish:
    • Brush with garlic butter immediately after baking.
