Ingredients

  • 2โ€“4 fish fillets (tilapia, cod, haddock, sole, or sea bass)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of ยฝ lemon (optional but amazing)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (or cilantro)

Instructions

  1. Season fish on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook fish 3โ€“4 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add butter and let it melt.
  5. Add garlic, sautรฉ 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and zest.
  7. Return fish to the pan and spoon sauce over the fillets for 1โ€“2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
