🧾 Ingredients
For the biscuits:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter (cubed)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
- 3/4 cup milk
For the crab filling:
- 200g crab meat 🦀 (fresh or canned, drained)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
For garlic butter:
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp parsley (chopped)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prepare filling:
In a bowl, mix crab meat, mayonnaise, cream cheese, mustard, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. Set aside. - Make biscuit dough:
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
Add cold butter and rub until crumbly.
Stir in cheddar cheese, then add milk and mix into a soft dough. - Assemble:
- Divide dough into equal portions.
- Flatten each piece, add a spoon of crab filling.
- Cover with more dough and seal into a ball.
- Bake:
- Place on baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 18–20 minutes until golden.
- Finish:
- Brush with garlic butter immediately after baking.
