For the Chicken:

  • 450 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

  1. Prepare the Sauce
    In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, and honey. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Chicken
    Heat olive oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
    Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–6 minutes until lightly golden and fully cooked.
    Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables
    In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
    Add broccoli and carrots, and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  4. Combine and Finish
    Return the chicken to the pan.
    Pour in the prepared sauce and stir well to coat all ingredients evenly.
    Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve
    Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
