🧾 Ingredients

Cake Batter:

  • 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Honey Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1–2 tbsp milk (adjust for consistency)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the pan.
  6. Mix cinnamon swirl ingredients and sprinkle over batter.
  7. Add remaining batter on top and lightly swirl with a knife.
