Beef‑Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta Filling

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the beef and cook for another minute.
  4. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Stir the cooked beef into the ricotta mixture until well combined.
  6. Spread ½ cup marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Fill each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture and place them in the dish.
  8. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  9. Sprinkle with mozzarella and the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
