This homemade cheese flatbread is crispy on the outside and filled with gooey melted cheese on the inside. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or even dinner!


📝 Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup warm water

For the filling:

  • 1–2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella or any melting cheese)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for layering)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the dough

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and oil. Gradually add warm water and knead into a soft dough.

2. Rest the dough

Cover and let it rest for 20–30 minutes.

3. Shape & layer

Divide into balls. Roll each ball thin, brush with melted butter, sprinkle cheese, then fold/roll to create layers.

4. Flatten

Gently flatten again into a round shape.

5. Cook

Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook each flatbread 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

6. Serve

Brush with butter and serve warm with extra cheese if desired 🤤
