
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ketchup or tomato sauce
- 4–5 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Boil potatoes until tender; mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Spread mashed potatoes in a baking dish, place meat mixture on top, spread ketchup, and top with cheese.
- Bake 35–45 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
