🧾 Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • 250ml warm milk
  • 60ml vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

For filling:

  • 200g cheese (mozzarella or any melting cheese) 🧀

For topping:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp milk

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes.
  2. Add egg, oil, flour, and salt. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead for 8–10 minutes until soft and smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Divide dough into small balls.
  6. Flatten each ball and add cheese inside.
  7. Close and shape into small buns.
  8. Place on baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush with egg yolk + milk mixture.
  10. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden.
