
Ingredients:
- 2 cups prepared stuffing (bread stuffing mix)
- 1 cup cooked chicken, finely chopped (optional but common)
- 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 egg
- 2–3 tbsp melted butter
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the gravy:
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix stuffing, chicken, celery, green onions, egg, butter, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form into balls.
- Heat a lightly oiled pan and cook balls over medium heat, turning, until golden and heated through (or bake at 180°C / 350°F for 20–25 minutes).
- For gravy: melt butter, stir in flour, cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in broth. Simmer until thickened. Season to taste.
- Drizzle gravy over stuffing balls and serve warm.
