👩🍳 Instructions:
- Make the Dough:
Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add butter, eggs, salt, and flour. Mix until combined. Knead briefly (or use a mixer) until soft and slightly sticky. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until doubled. - Roll & Fill:
Roll dough into a large rectangle. Spread with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up tightly and slice into 12 pieces. - Arrange & Rise Again:
Place in a greased 9×13” baking dish. Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes. - The Secret Move:
Just before baking, pour warm heavy cream evenly over the rolls. This makes them incredibly soft, rich, and gooey. - Bake:
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. - Glaze:
Beat glaze ingredients together and spread over warm rolls.
💡 Tips:
- For extra caramel gooeyness, mix a little brown sugar into the cream before pouring it over the rolls.
- Want a shortcut? Use store-bought dough and just try the heavy cream trick before baking!
