🧾 Ingredients
🥖 Dough:
- 4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) dry yeast
- 1 cup (240ml) warm milk
- 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup (120g) butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt

🌰 Walnut Filling:
- 1 cup ground walnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
⚫ Poppy Seed Filling:
- 1 cup poppy seeds (ground)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)

- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and a little sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add eggs, melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Gradually add flour and knead until smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
2. Make the Fillings
- Walnut: Mix all ingredients until thick paste forms.
- Poppy Seed: Cook milk, sugar, and poppy seeds on low heat until thickened.
3. Shape the Rolls
- Divide dough into portions.
- Roll each into a rectangle.
- Spread filling evenly.
- Roll tightly into a log (like a Swiss roll).
4. Second Rise
- Place rolls on a baking tray.
- Cover and let rise for 20–30 minutes.
5. Bake
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Brush with egg yolk.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
6. Serve
- Let cool slightly.
- Slice and dust with powdered sugar.
