🍗 Chicken Mushroom Stroganoff (Creamy & Easy) 😋
📝 Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Cooked egg noodles or pasta (for serving)
- Fresh parsley (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions:
1. Cook the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a pan
- Add chicken, season with salt & pepper
- Cook until golden, then remove and set aside
2. Sauté Veggies
- In the same pan, melt butter
- Add onion and cook until soft
- Add garlic and mushrooms, cook until tender
3. Make the Sauce
- Pour in chicken broth
- Add paprika and stir well
- Let it simmer for 5 minutes
4. Finish
- Return chicken to the pan
- Lower heat and add sour cream
- Mix until creamy (don’t boil)
5. Serve
- Serve over pasta or noodles
- Garnish with parsley 🌿
💡 Tips:
- Add a splash of cream for extra richness
- Use fresh mushrooms for best flavor
- Keep heat low after adding sour cream
