🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Oil for frying
  • Sugar (for coating)

  1. Prepare dough
    • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
    • Add egg, warm milk, and melted butter.
    • Mix until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead
    • Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let it rise
    • Cover and let rest for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Shape donuts
    • Divide dough into small balls and shape into rounds.
  5. Second rise
    • Let rest for 20–30 minutes.
  6. Fry
    • Heat oil on medium.
    • Fry donuts until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Finish
    • Drain on paper towel and coat with sugar.
